Care ecologies
Transforming care ecologies
Care is the foundation of public health and societal well-being. We examine how care is organised, distributed, and experienced by applying a critical lens to gender and intersectionality. Our research uncovers how paid and unpaid care, ageing, disability, and deep-rooted social norms impact access to quality caregiving. Our core initiatives in care delivery include:
Strengthening care ecologies through the insights from our Care Roundtable with researchers and policymakers.
Building healthy ageing global collaboration by serving as a key partner in the Global aging philanthropy partnership.
Partnering on equitable palliative care with the Cipla Foundation to study complex palliative care delivery models; and identifying key approaches that improve healthcare equity and quality of life for individuals with serious illnesses.
