About Us
The Ramalingaswami Centre was established in 2015 in Bengaluru as a Centre of Excellence at the Public Health Foundation of India. We focus on research, training, and policy engagement on the social determinants of health.
Research
Our research is question-driven, rigorous, and collaborative. We work closely with marginalised communities and government partners to ensure our findings are both context-specific and impactful.
Training
Drawing from real-world field experiences and research on inequality, we create teaching materials and knowledge products for diverse stakeholders. The goal is to strengthen public health training and engagement in India.
Policy Engagement
We connect researchers, implementers, and policymakers to drive evidence-based policy. By translating community knowledge into action, we support state governments. We also engage with key national and international health policy bodies.
