The Centre has been working on identifying the drivers of maternal safety and rights, quality of care in public health facilities, and adolescent health, as well as developing new frameworks to understand women’s health and their well-being. Our particular focus is on availability, affordability and access to health services for poor and marginalised communities. We build on plural knowledge practices and engage with multiple actors to catalyse and sustain more equitable health outcomes. We do this by using grounded, context-specific evidence; co-creating purposeful capacity building programs; and advancing evidence-based policy development and action in response to evolving health challenges propelled by social, climate, and institutional change.
